In this Childcare First Aid course, you will learn how to identify illness or injury, access emergency services, safely provide first aid treatment using action plans, equipment, and resources, for CPR, defibrillation, administering an autoinjector for anaphylaxis, administering asthma medication, immobilisation and other conditions. You will learn basic anatomy, physiology, and the differences between adults, children, and infants relating to CPR, managing an infant or child with an acute illness, or who requires an immediate ambulance response in line with the Australian Resuscitation Council guidelines. You will get HLTAID012 Provide First Aid in an Education and Care Setting certificate the same day. You can choose to get certified in CPR only.

This course meets Australian Resuscitation Council (ARC) guidelines:

2. Enrollment: Receive your enrollment invitation within 24 hours of booking.

4. Online Theory: Then complete the online component through our user-friendly Training Desk platform.
5. In-Person Training: For groups, we’ll come to your location. The practical part of the course takes approximately 120 minutes.
